INDIANA MEMBERS CREDIT UNION RECEIVES 2013 RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE HELPING HANDS AWARD
(Indianapolis, IN) Indiana Members Credit Union (IMCU), Central Indiana’s largest credit union, was awarded a 2013 Helping Hands Award by the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana. IMCU was presented the award during the Ronald McDonald House Volunteer Recognition Dinner at the Indianapolis Marion County Central Library on Friday, September 27, 2013.
The award recognizes individuals, organizations and businesses who have responded to the needs of the families at the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana through outstanding in-kind gifts, advocacy, and/or volunteer efforts. The award is among the highest honors bestowed by the Ronald McDonald House of Indiana.
IMCU received the award based on their service and volunteer efforts to the Ronald McDonald House by providing and serving monthly hot lunches to the families of children staying at Riley Hospital for Children – IU Health. IMCU employees participate by delivering and personally serving the lunches to the families. Ron Collier, president and CEO of IMCU, said, “We are honored to receive this award from the Ronald McDonald House and are grateful for the service they provide. IMCU is dedicated to serving our community and supporting charitable organizations like the Ronald McDonald House. We look forward to continuing to build our relationship with them and with those they serve.”
